Something not beautiful in the eyes

This photos where not taken in an abandoned building or something okay? Although it looks like one, its one of the views at the main bldg of PUP(particularly at the east wing of the 5th floor). Sometimes I pity myself and my fellow PUPians when it comes to the physical condition of our beloved alma mater. If you would just compare the facilities of our school from those private universities, you would say that PUP is very left behind. Imagine how old the main bldg was. Its so sad to know that some students from other schools discriminate us PUPians maybe because of our poor facilities and low tuition fee(P12 per unit. yes you read it right)

It makes me think back my past experience when I was still a freshie at the university. It was a total culture-shock for me. PUP is really different from CSA where i spent my 12 years since pre-school up to highschool. But as the Filipino saying goes "sanayan lang yan."

But in spite of the present condition of the university, the PUPians still emerged victorious. Victory in the sense of the academic and professional field. Modesty aside, PUP is one of the consistent top performing school in different licensure examinations conducted by the government especially in the field of accounting and engineering. Isn't great? In the world today, we should learn how to be practical. Where can you find a 12 peso per unit offering university that gives you a high quality of education? Only in PUP. We should always be optimistic enough to bear in mind that nothing can stop from achieving our dreams-- not even the physical condition of our school.

All in all I have no regret enrolling in this university. I believe that this institution will be the stepping stone in reaching my dreams. So for my fellow PUPians:

Learning...

Just want to share some experiences of mine this past 2 days. Im so happy to know that our accounting prof is so nice. She's very good in motivating us students to work harder at every acti
vity she asks us to do. But thats just my opinion. I think its too subjective to say that she is nice. I mean everyone has his/her opinion. But as for me, 2 thumbs up for her. I think Im gonna do better this sem in my accounting class.
Just want to share something about my accounting class earlier. I am called in front to do some board work by my prof. The problem assigned for me is not that hard but i dont know why it took me several minutes to finish it. I mean I am so pressured that time that I felt a total black-out in my mind. Im so stressed because I know its just an easy problem but still Im having a hard time answering it. I felt so anxious for the reason that im afraid to looked stupid in front of th
e class. But thanks to Prof. Mauricio, instead of yelling me because of my mistakes, she gave me a strong motivation. I'll quote what she said in front of the class " You know class, its normal for us to have mistakes because nobody's perfect. Meron namang maganda sa ginawa ng classmate niyo(thats me), meron syang patience and he perservere. Meron nga tayong kasabihan, whenever we commit mistakes, dyan nagsisimula ang tunay na katalinuhan." That words of her really touched me and encourage me to do better. A few minutes later she again called me to answer a problem in front. But that time was different, I answered and discussed to the class the solutions well. So my prof gave me a compliment again.hahaha.

winner

I know thats this journal is non-sense but for me its not. That was a blissful moment for me. Im really learning a lot from that professor of mine.

Thinking of tomorrow...

another week have been included in the history. I'm kinda disturbed right now because of the fact that i have to work really hard in my acads because i have to take the special qualifying exam. I'm now thinking if I should resign as the auditor of KALIPI. I know that its kinda selfish move but its choice i have to take. This sem is the deciding sem for my future. I have to do my best if I don't want to be a frustrated dreamer. No more gimiks, no more hang-outs, no more dates(i consider it a date whenever when we're together) for now. Should take studies seriously.
I really hate it when my laziness attacks me. Its so hard for me to keep it off. Maybe I'm a little bit uninspired right now. hahaha. I need a strong motivation. I don't know where to pull that motivation. Maybe in something, or perhaps, with SOMEONE. How about that?haha

Oh its already 11:20 PM. I still have classes tomorrow at 7:00 AM. I thinks its time for a rest. Thank you for reading anyway. Hope you can be with me as I reach my DREAM...=)

FBI's 12 Best Deaths

pick ur favorite...
Every year the FBI, is asked to investigate over 36,000 Serious Crimes
including Suspicious Deaths and Homicides. Every year the Homicide
Investigations Unit puts out its Top 12 Homicides of the year.

1- Alex Mijtus,36 years old, is killed by his wife, armed with a 20
inch long vibrator. Mrs Mijtus had enough of her husband's strange sex
practices and one night during a prolonged session of fun she snapped,
pushing all 20 inches of the vibrator into Alex's anus until it ruptured
several internal organs and caused severe bleeding.

2- Debby Mills-Newbroughton, 99 years old, was killed as she crossed
the road. She was to turn 100 the next day, but crossing the road with
her daughter to go to her own birthday party her wheel chair was hit by
the truck delivering her birthday cake.

3- Peter Stone, 42 years old, is murdered by his 8 year old daughter,
who he had just sent to her room with no dinner. Young Samantha Stone
felt that if she couldn't have dinner no one should, and she promptly
inserted 72 rat poison tablets into her fathers coffee as he prepared
dinner. The victim took one sip and promptly collapsed. Samantha Stone was
given a suspended sentence as the judge felt she didn't realise what
she was doing, until she tried to poison her mother using the same method
one month later.

4- David Danil, 17 years old, was killed by his girl friend after he
attempted to have his way with her. His unwelcome advance was met with a
double-barreled shotgun. Charla's (the girlfriends) father had given it
to her an hour before the date started, just in case.

5- Javier Halos, 27 years old, was killed by his landlord for failing
to pay his rent for 8 years. The landlord, Kirk Weston, clubbed the
victim to death with a toilet seat after he realized just how long it had
been since Mr Halos paid his rent.

6- Megan Fry, 44 years old, is killed by 14 state troopers after she
wandered onto a live firing, fake town, simulation. Seeing all the
troopers walking slowly down the street Megan Fry had jumped out in front of
them and yelled Boo!. The troopers, thinking she was a pop up target,
fired 67 shots between them, over 40 of them hitting the target. She
just looked like a very real looking target, one of the troopers stated in
his report.

7- Julia Smeeth, 20 years old, was killed by her brother Michael
because she talked on the phone too long, Michael clubbed his sister to death
with a cordless phone, then stabbed her several times with the broken
aerial.

8- Helena Simms, Wife to the famous American nuclear scientist Harold
Simms was killed by her husband after she had an affair with the
neighbor. Over a period of 3 months Harold substituted Helena's eye shadow
with a Uranium composite that was highly radioactive, until she died of
radiation poisoning. Although she suffered many symptoms, including total
hair loss, welts, blindness, extreme nausea and even had an ear lobe
drop off, the victim never attended a doctor's surgery or hospital for a
check up.

9- Conrad Middleton, 26 years old, was killed by his twin brother Brian
after a disagreement over who should take the family home after their
parents passed away. Conrad had a nasal problem, and had no sense of
smell.

After the argument Brian stormed out of the house, then snuck back
later, and turned on the 3 gas taps in the house, filling it with gas. He
then left out a box of cigars, a lighter and a note saying, Sorry for the
spree, have a puff on me, Brian. Conrad promptly lit a cigar,
destroying the house, and himself in the process.

10- Patty Winter, 35 years old, was killed by her neighbor in the early
hours of a Sunday morning. Her neighbor, Falt Hame, for years had a
mounted
F6 phantom jet engine in his rear yard. He would fire the jet engine,
aimed at an empty block at the back of his property. Patty Winter would
constantly complain to the local sheriff's officers about the noise and
the potential risk of fire. Mr Hame was served with a notice to remove
the engine immediately. Not liking this he invited Miss Winter over
for a cup of coffee and a chat about the whole situation. What Winter
didn't know was that he had changed the position of the engine, as she
walked into the yard he activated it, hitting her with a blast of 5,000
degrees, killing her instantly, and forever burning her outline into the
driveway.

11- Michael Lewis, angry at his gay boyfriend, used the movie, Die Hard
With a Vengeance
as inspiration. He drugged his boyfriend, Tony Berry,
into an almost catatonic state, then dressed him only in a double
sided white board that read Death to all Niggers! on one side, and God
Loves the KKK. On the other. Lewis then drove the victim to downtown Harlem
and dropped him off.
Two minutes later Berry was deceased.

12- Military Sergeant John Joe Winter killed his two timing wife by
loading her car with Trintynitrate explosive (similar to C4). The Ford
Taurus
she was driving was filled with 750 kgs of explosive, forming a
force twice as powerful as the Oklahoma Bombing. The explosion was heard
by several persons some up to 14 kilometers away. No trace of the car or
the victim were ever found, only a 55 meter deep crater, and 500m of
missing road. ....Ü

My Dream

I believe that every person has a dream. A dream that will be their inspiration as the wheel of life continues to roll. Life without a dream is like joining a race without a finish line. You strive hard to be the number one but still you can’t win because it doesn't have an end. I'll quote what Hans Selye said, “Those who are realistic and practical are less realistic and practical in the long run than those who dream big dreams and passionately pursue them.” But the best part of dreaming is that you can dream as high as the impossible for free. There are no boundaries--only possibilities .

What is your dream? Perhaps if you will ask a college student like me with this question you will only obtain a relatively same answer and that is to finish studies. Well its true. I want to finish my degree and become a Certified Public Accountant and perhaps someday, become a CPA Lawyer. That was my long time dream. That’s why I'm striving hard in my studies. Sleepless nights are already a normal routine for me. It is not easy for me to concentrate well in my academics because I also have co-curricular activities particularly in the Student Council and in another organization. But despite of the hardships that I encounter, I still remain to stand it all because I believe that it’s all a part of being a leader. Being a leader means sacrifice. A good leader knows how to balance everything but still prioritize what is more important. And as a student, studies must be above everything else.

Some people are asking me why I am keeping myself busy to things that do not give me pay in return. I always answer them with another question. Is money the only thing that can make you happy? I do all of these stuff because I want to serve my fellow students. It gives me a satisfying feeling whenever I cater the needs of my constituents. They endowed their trust in me that’s why I have the responsibility to take good care of that trust. In the future as professionals, we will all become leaders. So why not start training myself right now? That’s one thought that have come on my mind why did I accepted such big responsibilities.

Everybody dreams to be happy. But that happiness cannot be achieved by dreaming alone. Dreaming and action must be aggregated in order to succeed. There’s no such thing as broken dreams. If you think you already did your best to achieve that dream and still fail in the end that only means that God has a better plan for you. Let’s not forget that God still knows best. Have faith in Him. In every failure there are a lessons learned. And that will become another significant element to succeed. So what is my dream? I dream to be happy and make others happy as well. Let me end my essay with a quote:

“Dream as if you'll live forever, and live as if you'll die tomorrow “

My Student Council Election Experience

Kilos PUPian

this post is about my experience in the previous SC Election last feb. 2007. i know its kinda late but i just want to share that memorable moment of mine.

here it goes:

Being a candidate of our Local Student Council is big privilege for me. I really want to serve my fellow student that’s why I’m very eager to win the position as a Councilor of our college. Kilos! PUP party helped me to reach my goal. I really enjoyed my campaign running under the banner of Kilos. During the campaign period, I saw what unity is really all about. All the candidates together with the campaign managers and paralegals did their best to let the students know what the party really wants for the university. As what we have always saying, Kilos! PUP party aims to have a “Transparent, Effective, and Responsive Student Government. ”

In behalf of the Kilos! CoA, I want to thank all the BSA students who handed their trust to Kilos to continue its vision to serve the College of Accountancy students. The victory of Kilos! CoA is a victory of the BSA students. Always bear in mind that if we really want to serve our country, we should STUDY.

For me, the real prize I have received in the past election period is not the position. The ultimate prize is the friendship that had been built between me and my colleagues at Kilos Party. Even though not all candidates triumphed, it will not be a hindrance for the Party to serve the students. Like what they say, “Achievers are those who doesn’t know how to quit.” So once again, I thank all the students who laid their trust in the Kilos Party. PUPians, Tara, Kilos Tayo!

Usapang Lalaki

Usapang Lalaki

*gabi. usapang lalaki*
*sindi ng yosi*
*hithit*
*buga*

Musta na bestfriend? Ako, ok lang. Nagmumuni-muni. Nagiisip.

"I will give you space to think it over"...yan ang lagi nilang sinasabi pag medyo nanlamig tayo.

*lagok*
*lunok*

At hindi lang yon, sa first month ng relationship I agree na malambing pa yang mga yan. Kesyo, aasikasuhin tayo. Susubuan pa kapag kumakain kayo ng sabay. Magbibigay ng t-shirt, wallet at loveletter/card. Akala mo maamong tupa.

Sila? May ipinagbabawal ba tayo sa suot nila? Ummm...

bagay. Haller? as if noh!

*iiling*

*singhot*
