My Student Council Election Experience

Kilos PUPian

this post is about my experience in the previous SC Election last feb. 2007. i know its kinda late but i just want to share that memorable moment of mine.

here it goes:

Being a candidate of our Local Student Council is big privilege for me. I really want to serve my fellow student that’s why I’m very eager to win the position as a Councilor of our college. Kilos! PUP party helped me to reach my goal. I really enjoyed my campaign running under the banner of Kilos. During the campaign period, I saw what unity is really all about. All the candidates together with the campaign managers and paralegals did their best to let the students know what the party really wants for the university. As what we have always saying, Kilos! PUP party aims to have a “Transparent, Effective, and Responsive Student Government. ”

In behalf of the Kilos! CoA, I want to thank all the BSA students who handed their trust to Kilos to continue its vision to serve the College of Accountancy students. The victory of Kilos! CoA is a victory of the BSA students. Always bear in mind that if we really want to serve our country, we should STUDY.

For me, the real prize I have received in the past election period is not the position. The ultimate prize is the friendship that had been built between me and my colleagues at Kilos Party. Even though not all candidates triumphed, it will not be a hindrance for the Party to serve the students. Like what they say, “Achievers are those who doesn’t know how to quit.” So once again, I thank all the students who laid their trust in the Kilos Party. PUPians, Tara, Kilos Tayo!

Councilor, CoA SC
