Something not beautiful in the eyes

This photos where not taken in an abandoned building or something okay? Although it looks like one, its one of the views at the main bldg of PUP(particularly at the east wing of the 5th floor). Sometimes I pity myself and my fellow PUPians when it comes to the physical condition of our beloved alma mater. If you would just compare the facilities of our school from those private universities, you would say that PUP is very left behind. Imagine how old the main bldg was. Its so sad to know that some students from other schools discriminate us PUPians maybe because of our poor facilities and low tuition fee(P12 per unit. yes you read it right)

It makes me think back my past experience when I was still a freshie at the university. It was a total culture-shock for me. PUP is really different from CSA where i spent my 12 years since pre-school up to highschool. But as the Filipino saying goes "sanayan lang yan."

But in spite of the present condition of the university, the PUPians still emerged victorious. Victory in the sense of the academic and professional field. Modesty aside, PUP is one of the consistent top performing school in different licensure examinations conducted by the government especially in the field of accounting and engineering. Isn't great? In the world today, we should learn how to be practical. Where can you find a 12 peso per unit offering university that gives you a high quality of education? Only in PUP. We should always be optimistic enough to bear in mind that nothing can stop from achieving our dreams-- not even the physical condition of our school.

All in all I have no regret enrolling in this university. I believe that this institution will be the stepping stone in reaching my dreams. So for my fellow PUPians:

wag tayo puro reklamo, matutong magtiyaga. hindi matagal ang apat na taong pagtitiis at pag-aaral

"What good is a diamond if not heated to perfection"
